!!!SPOILERS!!!

The poetic ending to one of the greatest movies of all time unfortunately just misses my top 5 favorite scenes. It’s the greatest scene in the movie and  one of the greatest scenes of all time. The movie is brilliantly acted by all, but each character is perfectly executed especially in this scene. Scroll down to enjoy it, but do not watch if you have not seen the movie.

Best Character: Tyler Durden

Best Quote: “Not your head Tyler, our head”

#10 Beating the Boss Scene (Fight Club) !!! SPOILERS !!!

The hilarious and unexpected classic scene in Fight Club I love Fight Club for many reasons and this is one of the big ones.

Best Character: Jack

Best Quote: “For some reason, I thought of my first fight, with Tyler.”

Scene:

#13 Car Ride Scene (SE7EN)

This is by far the best scene in SE7En and one of the most intense dialogue driven scenes ever filmed.

Best Character: John Doe

Best Quote: ” You can’t just tap them on the shoulder, you have to hit them with a sledge hammer.”

Scene:

Burn After Reading Review

This is a hilariously smart movie about intertwining stupidity. Not many comedies get better than this. What you have here is a comedic complex crime story with many different characters (played expertly by every actor) that leads to hilarious conclusions. What I like about Burn After Reading is there really isn’t a main character, there’s just a lot of different, yet equally fun characters reacting to the events and characters around them. The acting was top-notch and fun, especially by John Malkovich and Brad Pitt, I smiled with each of their lines. Burn After Reading wasn’t epic, and it didn’t have much point or reason, but it was incredibly entertaining and worth every penny. Burn After Reading wasn’t No Country for Old Men and it didn’t amount to much in the end, but that’s one of the key points I received from this film. A movie doesn’t have to amount to much to have a good story, and Burn After Reading does hilariously tell a great story.

Grade: B+

#11 Tyler Durden (Fight Club)

He’s loud, obnoxious, and intelligent, but there’s a lot more to him that meets the eye.

  • Actor: Brad Pitt
  • Quote: “We were all raised to believe we’d grow up to be movie gods, rock stars, and millionaires, ut we won’t and we are very, very pissed off.”
  • Action: Takes a beating and laughs the entire time.
  • Clip(s):

The Assassination Of Jesse James By The Coward Robert Ford

This is an incredibly well made and well acted movie. It could stand on its own visually and narrated in a way that makes you really pay attention when the narrator is talking. This is a pretty long movie (160 min), but it doesn’t leave anything out and makes you feel like your really there. Unlike most westerns, this movie is realistically told and doesn’t just throw a bunch of guns and action at you. This was a very interesting history lesson, but don’t get discouraged when I say history lesson because this is one lesson you don’t want to be texting during.  Grade: A
