#1 Interrogation Scene (The Dark Knight)

Many will disagree, who am I kidding, most will disagree. My job isn’t to please viewers, it’s to tell them my opinion. Even if I were to attempt to please my viewers I couldn’t succeed in pleasing them all especially in a such a broad topic of movies. The interrogation scene in The Dark Knight is, in my opinion, the greatest scene ever put on to the silver screen. It’s a scene right smack dab in the middle of the greatest film ever made and it has the long awaited meeting between good and evil. Not just good and evil though. This good is the most heroic good there is, while this is the most diabolical evil ever depicted and this is the meeting between the two. This will forever be an iconic scene, whether you think it’s one of the best or not. The Interrogation scene has so much meaning behind it, but don’t take my word for it, watch it for yourself. This scene is what movies are all about.

The Joker is by far not only the greatest villain in film history, but also the greatest character. His final scene is fantastically climactic and above all epic. The Joker is thrown off a building and he laughs hysterically. He is then saved by his greatest enemy and they have their final confrontation in which he utters the greatest quote in the film and one of the greatest in history. The scene is memorable one and it saddens you even greater for the loss of a spectacular actor.

Best Quote: “You, you just couldn’t let me go could you? This is what happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object. You won’t kill me out of some misplaced sense of self-righteousness and I won’t kill you because you’re just too much fun. I get the feeling you and I are destined to do this forever.”

The Dark Knight Auditions

I just watched a hilarious video on youtube and I just had to post it on my site. It’s called The Dark Knight Auditions and it’s incredibly funny.

Check it out here:

Sure it makes fun of the greatest  movie ever, but atleast it doesn’t make fun of the greatest character ever.

Dark Campaign

If your like me and believe that not only should Dark Knight be nominated, but also win Best Picture than please visit the site, Dark Campaign. Then make a digg account if you don’t already have one and digg it. The Dark Knight is the greatest movie of all time and even though David Fincher deserves the Academy recognition for once, the masterpiece known as The Dark Knight needs it more and deserves it more. he past couple of years I have agreed with the Academy 100%. Let’s hope I can agree with them this year also.

Honestly, in what way possible can you not call The Dark Knight the Best Picture, just because its a movie based on comic book characters. This movie shouldn’t be shunned for that fact. It should be praised for the fact that It managed to take comic book characters and make a crime-drama of epic proportions. It should be praised for the fact that its villain is colorful and its hero is black. It should be praised for the fact that it is the greatest depiction of good vs. evil of all time. Above all, it should be praised for the fact that it is an absolute masterpiece.

A classic scene that perfectly mixes both comedy and intensity, which is exactly what The Joker is supposed to be.

#20 Mob Meeting Scene (The Dark Knight)

The first actual scene where joker says more than just two lines is an incredible. It’ll go done as one of the classic scenes of the film because of The Joker’s infamous pencil trick.
