If your like me and are extremely excited about the set date of December 12th for The Dark Knight DVD release, then you might also be like me and be pissed at what I’m about to show/tell you. I have been excited to know for awhile what the DVD case will look like. If the couple sites that I’ve looked on are correct about the look then I am pissed off. A monkey could’ve thought up these DVD designs:
Why the f*&^ is The Joker not on the cover. First of all The Joker is by far the best character in this film and in history, why is he not on the cover of the movie he’s in. Second of all, this is Heath Ledger’s last completed performance and one of the best I’ve ever seen by an actor and they’re not even going to have the character on the cover. It should just be The Joker on the cover F&*( Batman. Maybe they should give you a choice, one with joker and one with batman, the batman one wouldn’t even sell one single copy. You know that and I know that.

I wished they put Joker on the cover. They probably used a more action pack shot of Batman on the cover because the Joker might scare some moms away from buying the DVD for their children at Walmart.

Batman is just the sleeve on the case, the joker is actually on the dvd case, if you really dont want batman on the cover than throw away the sleeve. and i hate how everyone is like “its the heath ledgers last role” so what? he did amazing in the movie but this isnt the joker’s story this is batman’s story, so if your going to bitch then just throw away the sleeve.

Not just one person you dumb ass hole. Sick off people telling you it’s Heath Ledger’s last role. Shut the hell up, that’s the truth. What do you want, people to lie to you? I just think they could’ve came up with something better. Something with all three on, but not just a stupid poster. I’m just trying to say we should recognize a brilliant performance by Heath Ledger. He was the best character in the movie, had the best performance, was the main selling point of the movie and died before he could see more then the first five minutes of the thing. If you don’t care what the case looks like that’s fine, but please explain to me why you have to criticize me just for saying that an amazing performance should get recognition.
P.S. Really look closely at the movie next time you watch dumbass and tell me who has the bigger part. Tell me who’s saying all the long intense monologues and who just keeps saying short intimidating lines like “Where Is He?!?!?”
I wish Joker was on the front cover of the standard DVD casing. I don’t have blu-ray 😦 But the image of the Batman in front of the burning hospital will go nicely with the cover of Batman Begins. I hope HMV (UK) will do a special sleeve though, like they sometimes do, so I can get a Joker cover.

Point..for the first time i guess the movie was more bout the antagonist and not the protagonist.

Grabbed my copy of the DVD…n guess wht i got the Joker Poster..cudnt get my hands on the Mask though..
